1. What we collect, and why

Contact form. Name, company, email, phone and your message. Used solely to answer your request and conduct any follow-up you ask for. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Newsletter. Your email address, used to send occasional market updates. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it any time via the unsubscribe option or by emailing us.
Correspondence. If you email or call us, we process the contact details and content involved to handle the matter.

2. Where data is stored

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase (within the EU where available) and in our email and business systems. We share personal data with no one else, except service providers processing it on our instructions, or where the law requires disclosure.

3. Retention

Contact requests are kept as long as needed to handle your matter and for a maximum of 2 years after last contact, unless an engagement follows (in which case engagement-related retention rules apply, including statutory administration periods). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website currently sets no tracking or advertising cookies. See the cookie policy for detail.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Email tex@staalre.com; we respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We may update this policy; the version on this page applies, with the date above.
